Georeference high-resolution 360 Video that’s project specific
VRM Group was born out of the need to improve project planning and design for all stakeholders - decision-makers to field engineers. Site-specific photos are invaluable to project but the frustration continues when photo files stack up in a server and don’t give the exact location or view a planning team needs. Aerials and drone footage can fill in some of the gaps and are essential for design and asset management, but the view from the ground provides a more realistic perspective. This is true for all phases of a project, including planning, permitting, design, bidding, construction, as-builts, and monitoring.

A large utility provider was already in the design approval process. The initial design was centered around a transmission panel being accessed at a certain GPS coordinate, an “As-Built” situation. After using VRM’s 360 video, it was discovered there actually was not a panel at that location which resulted in a costly change order. Had the VRM 360 video been available in the initial stages, the change order could have been prevented.
